Hello!!
Today I'll tell you about La Cerdanya:
La Cerdanya is a county of Catalonia where are from my grandmother called Carolina. She lived in one small town near of Puigcerdà (the capital of La Cerdanya) with her family until her marriage, because then she came to live in L’Alt Empordà.
There, we have got family and great friends, and it’s a place where I’ve spent lots of times of my live and all of these have been brilliant and will be unforgettable.
Some years ago, we went there very often because we keep the old house of my grandmother’s parents, but now we haven’t got this house, therefore, we don’t go to Puigcerdà very often, apart that we haven’t got as time as before…
This September we decided to go to La Cerdanya, because it was my grandmother’s birthday and we wanted to celebrate it there and also because we hadn’t gone to this mountain zone since two years ago. This little travel was the birthday surprise for my grandmother and it liked her very much; she felt very happy and we (my grandfather, my family and me) too.
We only spent three days there but they were intense and funny; we visited the most of our friends who we hadn’t seen since some years ago!!
This opportunity to know this fantastic and nice place which has given me my grandmother, I won’t take advantage it: I will go there always that I can, because I love it and I have the illusion to have again one house in La Cerdanya, one dream which I hope to come true =)
